Between 1962 and 1981 my grandfather was a mail carrier on Rural Routes 1 & 4 out of the Millersburg, Ohio post office. By the time he retired, he had logged 250,000 miles without an accident. In recent years, I have photographed along his old routes and corresponded with the residents who live there today.
